Where does Sandwich store my API keys?

Answer

All your files are saved locally on your device, and they are accessible only to you.

At Sandwich, the privacy and security of your personal information are paramount. Sandwich does not store any of your personal information, including your API keys and user settings, on external servers or in the cloud. Instead, all your files are saved locally on your device, and they are accessible only to you.

To create a Key File for storing your API keys, follow these steps:

1. Go to Keys > Manage Keys > Key File > New.

2. Select the folder where you want to save the Key File.

3. Name the file and click Save.

We also highly recommend that you lock this API key file to your computer and add a secure password.

By creating a Key File and specifying its location, you ensure that your API keys are securely stored on your device.

To check the location of your API Key File, follow these steps:

1. Go to Keys > Manage Keys.

2. Look at the Window Header, where the file path is displayed. This file path indicates the location where your API Key File is stored.

By storing your API keys locally and providing you with full control over their access and security, Sandwich prioritizes the protection of your personal information.
